secretius

Conrad comes before Secretius.

"Master," say Conrad
what is happiness?
Some days I'm happy, some days I'm sad.
Why is it like this?"

"Happiness," answered Secretius.
"is like a beautiful spring day.
It does not last forever.
And it seems so wonderful in comparison to the long cold winter that preceded it.
True happiness consists in knowing that a spring day may be right around any corner."
